 Recognition

· ISH awards and scholarship recipients will be recognized at the annual ISH state meeting awards Luncheon.

• Histotechnologist of the Year

· This award honors an individual who excels and promotes the field of histotechnology. Nominee must be ISH Member in good standing for at least one (1) year. 

• Distinguished Service Award

· This award recognizes an individual for dedication, service and involvement to ISH. Nominee must be ISH Member in good standing for at least one (1) year. 

• Student of the Year

 This award recognizes a student, trainee or intern who best exemplifies the qualities of dedication and professionalism to the field of histotechnology. The recipient of the award receives $250 reimbursement for educational supplies &/or activities.
